AIC Brazil has recently obtained the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for Gerdau Divinópolis project in Minas Gerais (Southeastern Brazil).
Tests were executed with n.10 new ABB DCS880 panels. It follows the activities performed on the same site for the automation modernization on the 80 tph pusher-type reheating furnace, raising energy efficiency. The commissioning is scheduled for July 2023.
The cooperation with GERDAU Group worldwide has been going on for years, with multiple projects completed in many of its plants in North and Latin America, certifying a good bond and win-win partnership for both parties.
