AIC has been awarded with two robotic islands for bundles tagging in the US

One of the largest steel producers in the United States, has awarded AIC a new project at its plant in Roanoke, Virginia.


The project includes the supply and commissioning of two robotic tagging islands to be installed at the facility in Roanoke, VA, one for each mill outlet.

The robotic islands will be dedicated to tagging bundles with the aim of maximising the tracking and yield of the final product. 

The tags will be applied either on head or tail of the bundles, or both, options will be selectable trought the HMI system.
