AIC in partnership with Pomini Long Rolling Mills has signed a contract with the leading European manufacturer Ovako AB for hot rolling mill revamping at its facility in Hällefors (Örebro, Sweden).
The contracted scope of supply includes electrical and automation equipment with new power control panels based on ABB ACS800 standards for Stands 4-7 and Pendulum Shear. This modernization project will also add main and auxiliary drives panels for mill & coil handling area, and new main ABB's AC motors.
Commissioning is scheduled for July 2023.
