At the moment, the plant has achieved rolling of 8 mm sections at 33.75 m/s, a speed limited by the speed block.
The complete rolling mill was equipped with a fully automated system that configured the mill via a recipe system integrated with the HMI system. The high level of automation provided enabled a rapid learning curve and the customer significantly improved productivity within a week of start-up.
